SSF4VER2012: The Best of - 6 [Akuma]

It's been a long time since the last 'Best of' entry, so here it is! I decided to make it for - 6, a top 3 Akuma player from Japan. I like to think of - 6 as the "Poongko of Akuma players", always going for the flashy combo, never really trying to be too practical and going for the style points instead -- much like -R- with Balrog.  Naturally, he's always extremely entertaining to watch. One thing I'd like to add is he can't be defined solely as a "flashy player",  he has very strong defense, great execution, footsies, set-ups and overall top-notch fundamentals; all of which go hand in hand with his style. SSF4 Top Player Video Update - Featuring Tokido

I'm back this week with some of the best matches I've posted yet! Without a doubt, the past week's undeniable highlight was Tokido "The Murder Face" hitting up console SSF4 again, so you don't want to miss that match where he takes on Ryukichikun's exceptional Fei Long. Something tells me Tokido has quite a bit of experience in the Fei matchup, though. *See Mago*

SSF4 TOP PLAYER VIDEO UPDATE

Just like when MvC3 was still shiny and new, SSF4 is now taking a backseat to Mortal Kombat. So, like always, I'll be here to keep you updated with top level SSF4 matches (still the best game out there right now).

0ShinAkuma0 Interview with TTC Tokido The Murder Face

Tokido has been in Houston the past few days playing Arcade Edition casuals at Planet Zero Arcade with some of Houston's SSF4 players (including Four Wude, Kensou, Ex Jermaine and myself). He also attended the Texas Showdown Tournament this past weekend, where I was able to get an interview with the Murder Face on his thoughts about MvC3, Yun and Yang, which characters he wants to see in AE, Akuma matchup knowledge and more.

On a side note, Tokido did not participate in the tournament, although he did play the winners in an exhibition set. Check out Haunts' post to see those matches and more.

I was wondering who should I make my next Best of video for, then I realized why not everyone's favorite Ken player, Playerjun52, [Bon is his Arcade Player name in the Card System, he's ranked in the top 40 in AE with a Master rank, and one of the three top Ken players in AE along with Michael Tan and Wao]

Playerjun52 is known for using an exciting style, always looking for a flashy different way to finish matches. He has ultra setups that I've never seen before from anyone, and gets off something amazing virtually every match i've seen him in.

A couple of weeks ago, Mike "I Believe" Ross came down to Houston to play some Arcade Edition at Planet Zero Arcade, I was able to get an impromptu interview with him. These questions were asked my myself and other PZ players such as Kensou, Four Wude, Kid Viper and Planet Zero owner John.

This week, I thought I'd put the spotlight on my favorite Ken player, Playerjun52, according to many Ken players, THE top Ken player out there right now, but one thing is for sure, Playerjun52 puts on a great show and never disappoints, he's got the flashiest Ken i've ever seen and the execution to pull it off in matches on a consistent basis. He is one of only two Ken players with A+ Rank in Asia, the other being Momochi.

He's on the verge of taking his Hakan to A+ Rank!! which is a crazy feat considering his character of choice, and seeing how certain Master Arcade players  struggle to get past 16,000Bp, and others great players are not even able to reach A rank [15,000BP]
