Arc Revolution Cup 2015 Streams Announced

Arc System Works has announced the streams for its flagship tournament that happens on Aug. 15. Featuring two main games as well as two side events, Arc Revo Cup will be split into two streams, both on Nico Nico.

The main stream will feature three-on-three tournaments of Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- and BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend, while the second stream will feature Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st].

According to Dustloop, the main stream will run from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Japan Standard Time, and the side stream will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. JST. For those in the United States, the event will start at 6 p.m. PST (9 p.m. EST) and the main stream will end at 1 a.m. PST (4 a.m. EST).

AnimEvo Lineup, ASW-Sanctioned Team Events Announced for Evo 2015 

During the May 18 episode of Super Desperation Radio, Daryl "DJ Cream" Bunao and Alan "St1ckbug" Bakes joined the cast to announce the side airdasher tournaments that will be taking place at Evolution 2015. The two announced eight titles that will be part of AnimEvo, which be handled by a collaboration of East and West Coast organizers.

In addition, Bakes also announced that Arc System Works and Aksys Games will be sanctioning two 3-on-3, single-elimination tournaments for BBCPEX and Xrd aside from the main tournaments at Evolution. The entry fee, prizes and rules for the tournament, however, are still to be announced in the future.

Arc System Works Announces UNIEL ST, Location Tests Begin May 22

Arc System Works official site has announced that French Bread's Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late is getting an arcade update.

The new game, titled Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late ST, will have a new character (in addition to the previously console-only characters) as well as balance changes and a new system mechanic.

The new character, named Phonon, is a girl wearing headphones that carries a whip with her. The new game mechanic, Cross Cast Veil Off, will allow players to cancel an attack and enter Veil Off if the player has both Vorpal and 100 or more meter.

The location test will run from May 22-24, 2015, at Club Sega Shinjuku Nishiguchi and Sega Namba Avion in Osaka.

North American Version of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late Coming Feb. 24

The localized version of French Bread's latest fighting game is coming early next year.

North American publisher Aksys Games announced that Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late will come out Feb. 24, 2015. Much if not all content available on the Japanese version will also be accessible on the NA version including console exclusive characters and the online mode.

The European version of UNI, published by NIS America, is still planned for an unspecified 2015 release period.

Byakuya Announced for Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late

Arc System Works has announced a new character coming to the latest version of Under Night In-Birth: Byakuya.

According to Byakuya's bio (translated by Sourenga on Dustloop)

"He's a mysterious boy who's always moving around with a girl called Tsukuyomi who has classical aspects in her. Byakuya himself controls countless long black claws, captures his opponent and uses his creepy power that devours their Existence. Objective of these two is unknown, but it seems like Byakuya is using his ability is fulfill Tsukuyomi's wish. "Hollow Night" where many Fake Born gather, they refer to it as the 'Nest' and one by one they devour the high-quality Fake Born who get caught in the net they've set up..."
