As someone who listens to podcasts on a daily basis, I know firsthand that one of the few drawbacks of the format is that it is easy for exceptionally entertaining and/or informative segments to be buried and forgotten. It is a hassle to find and re-listen to such segments, especially as the podcast gets older and your memory on how to find it fades, and new listeners might not even know what they missed.
The fine folks at the Avoiding The Puddle podcast have a nice solution for this. They have begun pulling high value segments from their podcast archive and are uploading them to their youtube channel. This is a great way to bring that content back to the surface so that longtime fans and new listeners alike can enjoy them.
