Justice Evaluated In Final Guilty Bits Video, A Guilty Gear XX Video Series By Tataki

Go check out the final episode of the Guilty Bits series after the jump!

Along with Kliff Undersn, Justice is modified for competitive use in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R! Justice suffers from very limited mobility, a trait distinct from the rest of the GGXX cast, but makes up a lot with moves that have excellent zoning range and high damage.

For more information on Justice, you can read the wiki entry as well as the dedicated character forum on Dustloop!

Sanwa Guilty Gear Xrd Buttons to be Unveiled at JAEPO

Sanwa Denshi will be unveiling a new set of pushbuttons designed using characters from the upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- at the Japan Amusement Expo (JAEPO) this weekend, according to Arcade Shock. The buttons will feature 14 characters from Xrd and will continue the collaboration that created the BlazBlue buttons and balltops.

However, A|S claims that Sanwa may only produce half the amount of buttons it did for the BlazBlue promotion, so these buttons may be in short supply as soon as they are released.

Kliff Undersn Evaluated In Novriltataki's Guilty Gear Video Series Guilty Bits

Guilty Bits return following a short break to cover one of the two previously banned characters in Guilty Gear XX.

With the release of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, Kliff Undersn has been modified to be tournament legal. The range of his normals and specials accommodate his good poking. He also excels at creating corner pressure thanks to his effective and damaging mixup game. Kliff suffers though from low health, easy stun gain and poor mobility so players need to utilize his positives to the fullest.

Footage of Guilty Gear Xrd's Bedman Online

Editor's note: The YouTube video has subsequently been taken down, so the link is removed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

With the Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- loktest currently going on in Japan, players knew it wouldn't be long before footage of new character Bedman appeared online. And YouTube already has it.

Bedman's moves look interesting: he has a fireball that can be called back, a tornado spin and what appears to be an E. Honda-esque splash move. The thing to note is that at these moves leave shadowed marks on the screen that seem to be used to create another instance of the move outside of Bedman. If true, that would grant the character some very good mixup potential. One of his supers, meanwhile, involves a slow-moving black cloud that can sandwich the enemy between Bedman and the projectile.

There is sure to be more coverage of Bedman and returning character Zato=One as the weekend progresses, but this first look at the new Xrd character is a taste of things to come as -Sign- comes closer to completion.

Guilty Bits Covers FRCs, Teases BlazBits

As the Guilty Bits series nears its end, creator Novril has created a special episode dedicated to the Forced Roman Cancel. The FRC mechanic is a very polarizing topic among players; while veterans laud it as a tool that allows much flexibility in playstyle and strategy, many new players find the execution requirement an unnecessary hurdle to competency in the game.

Guilty Bits tries to ease new players into the mechanic, breaking down the process of learning FRCs step by step and even giving players hints as to how they can remember precisely where the FRC window in a move is located. The video even breaks down why FRC timings can seem different on whiff as opposed to on hit or block.

Novril also has released a teaser for a possible BlazBits series, asking fans if they would be willing to help fund the project. The survey can be found here.

Bedman Revealed as New Guilty Gear Xrd Character

Image courtesy of Famitsu.comFamitsu has revealed that the mystery character on the Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- website is none other than Bedman, a new character to the GG universe. Nothing else is known about Bedman at this time, but the upcoming issue of Famitsu is scheduled to contain information on him as well as returning character Zato=1.

While the name Bedman may seem confusing at first, posters over at Shoryuken have gleaned a possible reference that meshes with Guilty Gear's world. A few people have suggested that the romanization of the name is a homage to Bedemon, a side project of members in the doom metal band Pentagram. While not confirmed, the name would then continue GG's tradition of linking character and move names to well-known hard rock or metal bands.

The Famitsu issue with information on Bedman is scheduled for newsstands on Nov. 28 in Japan, and he will make his debut in Japan during the next loktest on Dec. 6-9.
