A Look At Some Buffs Given To Ares In Next Major Injustice: Gods Among Us Update

Here is a small look at what Ares will gain from the next patch in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

For his Divine Order combo, he will have a bigger hitbox in which will allows easier hit contact. His Annihilator super will fully work if connected; Originally, it would be interrupted during the initial overhead attack. Ares' teleport Warp Transmission upgraded with four total versions and can now be meter burned for faster recovery possibly allowing a better wake-up game defensively.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Patch Notes For Cyborg & Lex Luthor

Here are some notable buffs done to a couple of more characters in the next major Injustice: Gods Among Us balance update.

This time around, Cyborg and Lex Luthor are covered. For the former, both his forward and backwards grappling hook motions are easier to execute especially during combos. His repair circuit trait can refill twice as much health as originally provided yet will now take longer to reuse.

Superman's archenemy has an improved lex probe special in which it will likely track the opponent faster, forcing the opponent unable to easily dodge it. His lance blast special, including his unblockable charged version, have recieved damage increases. Aquaman won't be able to use his trait to escape Lex's Coordinates Received super.

Notes For Shazam, Lobo and Bane In Next Injustice: Gods Among Us Patch

Netherrealm Studios will be releasing an upcoming patch to Injustice: Gods Among Us intending to help out some of the uncommon characters in the game.

Some of Shazam's special moves will be improved damage wise including his psycho crusher-like Atlas Torpedo and his Bolt of Zeus projectile. His command grabs Achilles' Clutch and Herculean Might will also recieve the same treatment along with having better range.

Lobo's Hook Charge special recieved significant changes to now feature better startup frames and work as an overhead. His Pump Shot special also correlate with his Nuclear Shells trait to where he can load up two shells and will have better distance when shot.

Bane's Venom Boost trait gives him damage resistance which increased in each following level of Venom. While Venom Uppercut is commonly used as a combo ender with its meter burn version providing knockdown, players can meter burn even when an opponent is blocking or is whiffed. His Infinite Crisis combo is more viable for being safer on block and possible to hit characters with smaller hurtboxes.

The next patch for Injustice has currently no official date.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Downloadable Character Zatanna Now Available

Now the next downloadable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us is now available!

Zatanna Zatara was part of an unofficial downloadable character poll by Netherrealm Studios which featured other characters like the Red Hood and Static. It was revealed that Zatanna received more votes over followup Static. She is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for $5.00 (currently 400 Microsoft Points) and will soon come to the PlayStation Store for the same price along with a Cyborg Superman outfit!

Zatanna Introduced As Sixth Downloadable Character In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Planned For Aug. 13 Release

Following the recent release of Martian Manhunter, here is another downloadable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us!

After a quick confirmation a day before, they fully announced that magician Zatanna would be the next character in the line of downloadable characters for the game. Her significance in the DC Universe varies including having a connection with Batman. The character utilizes magic for some of her special moves including her hat acting as a trait.

Martian Manhunter Now Available To Download In Injustice

Another character for Injustice: Gods Among Us is now available as downloadable content!

J'onn, the Martian Manhunter, is the fifth downloadable character in the collection which puts the cast count to a total of 29 playable characters. He is available for $4.99 on the PlayStation Store and 400 Microsoft Points in the Xbox Live Marketplace; MM is not available in the season pass.

EVO 2013: Announcement Trailers Of Injustice & Ultra Street Fighter IV

For those who wanted to check out the announcement videos from EVO once again, here is the collection!

Once teased, now fully revealed is J'onn also known as the Martian Manhunter as the fifth downloadable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting against John Stewart, with voice by Phil Lamarr, a bonus costume for the Green Lantern.

The new update for Street Fighter IV will go beyond the balance tweaks with more content including six stages and four characters from Street Fighter X Tekken, Hugo, Poison, Rolento and Elena, with a new fighter making their premier in Ultra Street Fighter IV!

Injustice: Next Downloadable Character To Premiere In EVO 2013 Finals

The line of downloadable characters in Injustice: Gods Among Us are continuing on!

The reveal of the next character will premiere from a teaser trailer by Netherrealm Studios just before the start of the finals for Injustice. No details or hints in regards to this character as of yet.

Make sure to tune in into the trailer this Sunday either on stream or catch it in person if you are attending this year's biggest fighting game event!

Injustice: Video Overview Of Patch 1.05 Changes By TS Sabin

With the release of both General Zod (still banned at EVO) and patch 1.05, Arturo Sanchez goes over what changes have occurred in this new version.

This video archive, with help from EMP Dragongod, details all the changes done to every existing character including the downloadable characters Scorpion, Batgirl and Lobo. Other changes featured in the patch include level interactable modifications.

Injustice: Patch v1.05 Release Notes

NetherRealm Studios has released the newest patch notes for Injustice: Gods Among Us on the game's website. The update, set to go live on July 2 with the release of General Zod, makes notable changes to Scorpion and once again alters the properties to Superman's breath attack.

The patch also seeks to give some quality-of-life changes to defending characters, as everyone's down+medium attack (uppercut) has been improved and large interactables such as the chandelier and Metropolis drone have been given nerfs.

Injustice: General Zod Gameplay Trailer, Coming July 2, 2013

People have anticipated, it was already announced, but here is the gameplay trailer for the next downloadable character General Zod.

Despite being Krytonian, the military commander features unique tools different from Superman including external projectiles and closeup moves that allow him to work in multiple ranges. Nods including his infamous quote and the Phantom Zone are featured!

Injustice: Patch v1.04 Notes Released

NetherRealm studios has released the newest patch notes for Injustice: Gods Among Us on the game's website. Included in this update is the ability to play Scorpion, as well as a few more balance tweaks to the already-existing cast.

It's interesting to note that the update only makes Scropion available to season pass owners, while the rest of the general public will have to wait until June 11 to purchase him. Hit the jump for the full list of changes.

Injustice: Scorpion Confirmed As Third Downloadable Character, Gameplay Trailer Featured

The third upcoming downloadable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us' has finally been revealed to be one of Mortal Kombat's most popular characters.

Rumors were amok in regards to Scorpion being featured as part of the downloadable cast but it's finally confirmed as he will arrive as the third character in the season! Scorpion also sports a new default design created by DC Comics' own Jim Lee. Special moves including his trademark spear, teleport, and hellfire make a return. The gameplay trailer also shows off Superman in the Black Lantern attire!

Injustice: All Three New Downloadable Joker Outfits From The Killing Joke Graphic Novel Revealed

All three of Joker's new outfits have been revealed for the upcoming downloadable pack in Injustice: Gods Among Us!

The first comes from the moment in Alan Moore's The Killing Joke graphic novel where he suits up as a tourist to paralyze Barbara Gordon, who will appear as the next downloadable character as Batgirl. The second has the Joker don his more traditional outfit seen during the climax of the novel. The third features the Joker wearing The Red Hood costume before he became the infamous villain in the book and overall series.

While these costumes construct the trinity in this pack, Netherrealm Studios are planning to reveal more content in the days to come! Make sure to check their Facebook for more updates!

Injustice: Batgirl Gameplay Reveal Trailer, The Killing Joke-Era Joker Outfit Featured

Hot off the announcement of Batgirl for Injustice: Gods Among Us, a gameplay trailer for new is now available too view!

This version of Batgirl is be represented by Barbara Gordon, one of the more popular characters to take the role of the female crusader. Her gameplay style, while not necessarily a clone of Batman, seems to follow a rushdown approach with various Batman-like utilities to help with her combos and trying to get in. As a nod to The Killing Joke, the trailer features the Joker who is wearing the outfit when he paralyze Barbara in the infamous scene.

Injustice: Downloadable Character Lobo Arriving Tomorrow, Batgirl Announced

The first of four downloadable characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available soon!

DC Comics character Lobo was first referenced in the game as Doomsday hoped to fight the space mercenary anti-hero. This would be Lobo's first confirmed video game appearance after plans to develop a fighter for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Genesis in 1996 dissolved. He will be available tomorrow May 7, 2013 for $4.99 on PlayStation Network or 400 Microsoft Points; free for Season Pass users.

Officially announced for the next round of downloadable characters is Batgirl. After an incomplete download leak in the Xbox Live Marketplace, she was confirmed to be part of the DLC cast. Gameplay footage of her will be available next week.

Other downloads ($2.99 PSN, 160 MSP) include The Bad Girls pack which provides special outfits for Catwoman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn (in her classic Batman: The Animated Series outfit) and The Teen Titans pack which players can equip Cyborg, Deathstroke, and Raven in their attire from the Teen Titans cartoon series.

Injustice: Aquaman And Green Lantern Beginner Tutorial By Arturo Sanchez

Hot in the heels of his Sinestro tutorial, Arturo Sanzhez uploaded a new video featuring Aquaman and the Green Lantern!

During testing of the game, Sabin also specialized in using both Aquaman and Green Lantern so you can expect some extensive knowledge!

Injustice: Gods Among Us Now Available, Pre-Release Session And Sinestro Tutorial By Arturo Sanchez

Injustice: Gods Among Us is now out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U! Team Spooky's own Arturo Sanchez uploaded some footage before release to help anticipate the release!

From his Twitch channel, Sabin uploaded the the first part of his pre-release stream that features a session with Empire Arcadia's DragonGod. Sabin also uploaded a detailed tutorial on how to play Thaal Sinestro.
