Tekken 7 Tier List by Knee

Known as one of the best Tekken players in the world today, Knee has shared his ranking of characters in Tekken 7 along with some brief thoughts on them. Flying Wonkey has translated Knee's notes, which were originally posted by Kuro Kuro, and has added them to a TwitLonger post.

According to Knee, Shaheen sits alone atop the T7 roster at rank SS, with Law, Feng, King, Jin, Devil Jin and Kazuya rounding out the S rank. Knee's observations also include some caveats, including one that claims King becomes SSS tier on the stage with multiple breakable floors.

For the rest of the list, check out the picture posted by Kuro Kuro here.

The party will be coming to an end in Southern California for Tekken fans. After roughly three months of location testing for Tekken 7, including a qualifier tournament for the world championships, the machines will be returned to Bandai Namco on Oct. 15, 2015.

While this is definitely the shortest of notice for anyone who hoped to play the game one more time, Bandai Namco had never specified a length of time for the test.

For now, players will now have to wait and hope for an announcement of an official U.S. arcade release or a console version of the title.

New York's Next Level to Close in Early 2016

The succerssor to Chinatown Fair as New York City's fighting game community hotspot will be closing at the beginning of the new year. In a TwitLonger post, Henry Cen cleared up the rumors surrounding a disagreement he had with his Next Level partner, Nick Chan, and delivered the news:

"I want to explain myself and apologize to community over the uproar a few days ago, basically Next Level lease is coming to an end at Feb 29th, 2016 which I'm obligated to stay until then. My disagreement with my business partner was about my concerns for the future of Next Level and because of our differences regarding this issue, we've agreed that after the lease is over to go our separate ways."

Next Level opened its doors in Brooklyn in 2011 shortly after the closure of Chinatown Fair (the arcade has since reopened under new management). Cen hopes people will continue to support Next Level before it closes and also said he still wants to give players "a new home for the community in the future."
