Chaos Code Coming to PlayStation 3 This Year

Andria Sang is reporting that the 2D arcade fighter Chaos Code will be receiving a console port and is set to be released sometime in Japan this year. While I am not getting my hopes up for a North American release, keep in mind that the PS3 is region free so those of us looking to give the game a shot will at least now have a chance outside of importing the arcade board (we tried!) or going to Japan.

If you're unfamiliar with the game itself, check out this post for hours and hours of footage.

Chaos Code: Meet Bravo Peperonicine, the Table Flippin' Chef

So when we posted about Chaos Code just a few days ago, I'll be honest, I thought that would be last of that game on the front page for quite sometime. Since then I've been watching more videos and I have to say the game has really grown on me. The animation looks really clean and fluid, there is a wide variety of character designs and hey, you can do this:

More Footage of Another Fighting Game You'll Probably Never Play: ChaosCode

Hot off the heels of our Super Dragon Ball Z story is another set of videos for a fighting game I've long forgotten about, ChaosCode. These videos, taken from Nico Nico courtesy of HardEdgeOfficial, show what I assume to be high level play and I  have to say this game looks like it could be a great deal of fun. I don't know too much about the game at all but it appears you can choose two different abilities for which ever character you end up playing which I'm sure makes for some interesting match-ups.

Have you played or studied Chaos Code and care to educate everyone on what this game is all about? Hit us up in the comments and let us know!
