Working as a game developer in Japan has its perks. The first and most obvious one is you get to make video games. The second less obvious perk is pretty much all of your connections are with other game developers. This played a major factor in scoring this interview.
ComputerAndVideoGames.com swooped up a chance to get a small interview with Mortal Kombats Co-Creater, Ed Boon. These are not the typical questions you would see with a highly anticipated game coming out.
CVG.com asks questions on how is NetherRealm going to keep the old school feel of Mortal Kombat, how are they going to raise the bar of gore within the game, and why Mortal Kombat has stayed alive for so many years.

As you guys probably know, I'm not one to do interviews all that often, but ESFIWorld.com -- a competitive gaming media website -- pulled me away just long enough to pick my brain on a few topics. I go over how iPlayWinner.com came about, my thoughts on the current state of Super Street Fighter 4 and even what I think about the word "e-sports".
Pancho sent over a cool interview with Ryan Hart, getting his thoughts on DreamHack itself, the multiple scenes in Europe and the affect Street Fighter 4 is having not on our scene, but other games as well. The interview is broken into two parts, both which you can check out below.

Q. If you would have to rank the top 3 Fei Long in the world, who they would be? Would you include yourself in the top 3 and what makes them the top 3 and what do you feel you have to do to become the #1 Fei Long player?
A. I would say me, Mago, and Starnab from what I've seen. Justin can never be ruled out though, he beat me in a mirror match a while ago, and Justin has a huge knowledge of the game. I haven't fought him since but I'd like to mention him. We all have the execution, Mago has the best on connecting Fierce punch after CW. Justin knows probably all the matchups, one of the perks of playing SF as a job. Starnab has the most experience using fei then any of us. He's been using him the longest and plays more then I do. I think to take the #1 Fei spot, you have to beat me, Mago, and Starnab.
A few new interviews with Maygo, er, Mago popped up today. One is from Shiro_420 of Edmonton Gamers where he asks Mago a bunch of stuff, like what he thinks of the level of Canadian play to who he believes to be the three strongest characters in the game.
Some new stuff featuring BLG Juicebox Abel surfaced over the past few days here. He put up a new Juicy Bits podcast which goes over defensive options in a number of different situations, so definitely worth a listen if you feel you get mauled all too often.
GamerDailyNews also caught up with him recently with a text interview, asking him questions ranging from how he got into the tournament scene to tournament level gameplay strategy. Check out a quick chunk of the interview below, and read the rest by clicking here.
Ok, the first video isn't exactly an interview. Just imagine you're sitting down while Daigo, Kokujin, Tokido, and KSK recount an old story about a SF3:2I guide KSK once wrote for a magazine. Ok, so maybe that doesn't sound like the most interesting story, but it's great entertainment watching these guys ribbing eachother (most of it is directed towards KSK).
A lot of you guys may have seen this interview with BLG Filipino Champ on SRK yesterday, but if you haven't it's definitely worth checking out. Ryan talks about his win over Daigo at SoCal Regionals and much more. Oh yeah, is that John Choi's roommate I hear? Check out the video below!

G4 TV just posted a promo video featuring Mike Ross, Gamberbee, EG Marn, and EG Justin Wong about SoCal Regionals. All players talk about how they got started with fighting games and how Street Fighter is now a international game.
This is a huge step with G4 TV finally recognizing the fighting game community is here to stay and keep on growing!
