SF x TK: Balance Patch and 12 New Characters Drop Tomorrow, Preview of Sakura, Blanka, Bryan and Jack-X

Capcom is set to release the Street Fighter x Tekken balance patch tomorrow and mentioned in their latest blog that they hope for this to be a "fresh start" for the game. Many of you probably heard the news from EVO but if you want to get caught up on what changes they plan to make to the game check out this post. 

They are also releasing the 12 new DLC characters tomorrow as they had pushed up the date significantly from its original release. With that, their latest preview is for Sakura, Jack-X, Blanka and Bryan. Hit the jump for a small excerpt and check out the full preview here.

TTT2: New Fight Lab Trailer Showcases Mini-Games & Challenges, Combot Customization

A new Tekken Tag Tournament 2 trailer surfaced today showcasing the Fight Lab mode which is more or less the tutorial portion of the game. You control a "Combot" -- which is fully customizable as shown in the trailer -- and clear various mini-games and missions that teach you how to play the game. 

If I recall correctly, your customized Combot can be used in local multiplayer as well. Check out the full trailer after the jump.

DOA5: New Balance Test Footage Features Badass Combos for Jann Lee, LeiFang, Akira, Rig & More

For Dead or Alive 5 fans who are more interested in the latest gameplay developments rather than where to pre-order certain costumes will be happy to know TECMO KOEI hasn't forgotten about them. The latest balance test footage was just released and features some great combos for about half the cast, including Virtua Fighter guest Akira Yuki.

They display the inputs in this video to give you a better idea as to what is going on and even give us a look at the training stage and a new "Antartica" stage. They also make it clear that again, this is just balance testing footage so damage is "all over the place".

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tournament Series Kicks Off Tomorrow in Austin TX, Registration for NYC Now Open

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Global Tournament Series kicks off tomorrow in Austin, TX with players coming from all over the country looking to qualify in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Street Fighter x Tekken and of course Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition Ver. 2012. The fights start at 10AM CDT on the Capcom Unity TwitchTV Channel so don't miss it!

if you cant make it out to this tournament keep in mind that the New York City qualifiers are right around the corner. Registration for the tournament just opened recently so swing by the registration page to get signed up. 

Atlus Confirms Persona 4: Arena for Xbox360 Has Lag Issues

Rumors have been floating around for the past few days ever since Japanese players got their hands on Persona 4: Arena that the game has lag issues on Xbox 360. While no one wants to jump the gun over a few pop-offs on 2ch or Twitter, Atlus has confirmed that the 360 version of the game does indeed have netplay issues and are looking into the issues. The PS3 version remains unaffected so hopefully a fix will be ready to go by the time the game comes out here in the states.

DOA5: New Bunny Angels Promo Trailer Featuring Sexy Costumes for Ayane, Kasumi, Lei Fang and Hitomi

TECMO KOEI released a new trailer for Dead or Alive 5 that obviously sets out to showcase the deep and complex gameplay found in the game. Also, if you look close enough you might notice that they are promoting a set of bunny swimsuit "sexy costumes" for Ayane, Hitomi, Lei Fang and Kasumi. 

These costumes will be available to those of you who pre-order the game from GameStop and have said to be a key element in battle when trying to distract your opponent. Check out the full video after the jump.

Persona 4: Arena Challenge Mode Combos

If you're looking forward to Persona 4: Arena and are having a hard time deciding which character to try out first, these set of Challenge Mode combo videos might help out a bit. TTT2: Latest Videos Showcase New Stages, Gameplay for Forest Law, P-Jack & Many Others

Rumble Fish Restart Project Begins this Summer with an Arcade Re-release

DIMPS is bringing The Rumble Fish 2 back to Japanese arcades this summer with a re-release using the Taito NESiCAxLive system. The game will apparently have various changes that will be detailed on the official website soon. 

This news comes in just about a week after DIMPS revealed that they now own the full rights to the game. Andria Sang stated that this arcade re-release is the first entry into the "restart project" so there is most likely more Rumble Fish news on the way. 

With Persona 4: Arena Right Around the Corner, BlazBlue Goes Out With a Bang in Latest Combo Video

It's no mystery that many BlazBlue players are eagerly awaiting the latest game from Arc System Works, Persona 4: Arena. While players may have shifted their focus elsewhere, others like Superscience -- who just released a great Bang Shishigami combo video -- are still pumping out great content for BlazBlue.

Wile I don't know enough specifics to really talk about the video in depth its really well edited and I'm sure most Bang players will get a few new ideas after watching it. Check it out after the jump!

Did You Enter Street Fighter x Tekken at EVO2012? Check Your Email for DLC Codes for the 12 New Characters

If you entered Street Fighter x Tekken at Evolution 2012 you might want to pull up your inbox if you haven't already. Capcom is providing players who registered for Street Fighter x Tekken two DLC codes for the 12 new characters that are set to release on the 31st and have sent out emails over the past 24 hours notifying those who are eligible. 

Keep in mind that you must fill out the redemption form before July 29th to receive the codes so don't wait too long!

Which characters do you plan on trying out first? I am looking forward to Lars and Cody!

UMVC3: Amaterasu Has the Easiest Infinite in the Game

I'm sure many of you have been in the lab with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 ever since the TAC infinites were discovered and have found that some are easier than others. Well, you wont believe how simple Amaterasu's is as demonstrated by YouTube user Pochi91919. He has also uploaded a demonstration of Iron Man, Nova and Zero's infinites as well.

TTT2: "We Are Tekken" Competition Results Features Amazing Artwork and Incredible Remixes

Namco held a "We Are Tekken" competition that asked fans to submit their best artwork and remixes. Over 200 submissions rolled in from all around the world and now the results are in featuring some really incredible creative work. I have to say the winner of the remix contest was well deserved as it's a great take on the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Intro theme. Which ones are your favorites?

UMVC3: These are the Freshest Vergil Combos You'll See All Week

Richard Nguyen posted on Twitter today a great Vergil solo combo video from CRINALE5 that features some really creative uses of his Spiral Swords Hyper and Round Trip special. In the video description he mentions that he wanted to show that Vergil can do a ton of damage even without OTG assists such as Weskers' Samurai Edge. It's no secret that Shen Woo is one of the best characters in The King of Fighters XIII due to his big damage combos that don't take the execution that is required from other characters in the game.
