VF5FS: A Chilling Goh Hinogami Combo Video

TMD02 uploaded one of the most entertaining Goh combos I've seen to date a few weeks ago and anyone who is a fan of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown should check this out. Hell, even if you think the game looks boring you should watch this and it will probably change your opinion!

Some of this stuff is escapable, and it's questionable how practical some of the combos are but it should give you a few ideas on how to start an offense and keep your opponent guessing! Check it out after the jump.

TTT2: Prima Strategy Guide Authored by Tournament Players, Includes Full Frame Data

The Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prima guide popped up on Amazon.com recently and with that is a few details many of you will be happy to know are included in the guide. Namco apparently "hand picked" numerous tournament players -- no idea who at this point -- to author the guide. Outside of a full move list and tag throw breakdown for all the characters, full frame data is included as well.

Frame data, as many of you know, is very important in fighting game, and arguably most important when playing 3D games such as Tekken and Virtua Fighter, so this is great news for anyone wanting to learn the game.

Harada Talks Netcode in TTT2, the State of Tekken x Street Fighter & More in New Interview

Ali over at Shadowloo helped out Gamespot Australia recently by conducting an interview with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada on a variety of topics. In this 25 minute video he talks about how TTT2 will use the same "netcode technology" as Soul Calibur V as it's the most recent netcode available at the company. The different teams in the company constantly share information and this is just one example of that.

When asked about mini-games, it sounds like we wont be seeing many of the goofier ones found in previous games but Fight Lab is a series of mini-games that will teach the player how to play the game.

The topic of Tekken x Street Fighter came up as well and they made it clear that it wont use the same engine as Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Harada said TTT2 uses a very specific engine and they are working on Tekken x Street Fighter from the ground up.

Lastly, they mention that will continue to support the arcade scene in Japan. Since Namco owns their own arcades they have a large stake in the arcade scene and have no plans to abandon it.

Check out the full interview after the jump!

UMVC3: Blow-Up Forward and Back Rolls with Magneto's Cross-Up Dash Set-Ups

Alioune released another Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 clip that I'm sure any Magneto player will appreciate as it demonstrates how you can mix-up your opponent whether they back roll or forward roll on wake-up. After knocking them down with S, use his Attraction special to pull them towards you. From here, input some well timed wave dashes to cross them up, regardless of which way they roll.

MAGUS1234 mentioned to me that Magneto is just one character who has this ability. Vergil has similar set-ups when ending a combo with Helm Breaker.

Check out the full video after the jump and leave your thoughts on these mix ups in the comments!
