Eight new characters leaked for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite?

Seven faces returning from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and one new addition will join the upcoming game's cast according to a removed news post.

French gaming website Jeuxvideo posted earlier today that Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon, Chun-Li, Strider and Chris Redfield would all be coming to MvCI before pulling the story. It has been preserved, however, via Google Cache.

Though this news has not been confirmed by Capcom, it comes as a user on NeoGaf has revealed that GameStop locations have received press materials for the game, which would line up with incoming information. It is currently unknown when this news was supposed to be announced and if more details will be coming with it during the official release.

Atlus Persona domains create speculation about new titles

The developer of the Persona series of games has registered a number of websites, leading players to wonder if a new fighting game may be in the works.

According to Siliconera, Atlus Japan has registered at least 14 domains with addresses such as Persona8.jp and Persona-dance.jp. The company, however, has also created P5U.jp leading players to think about the possibility of a new Persona fighting game.

Atlus has previously teamed up with Arc System Works to create both Persona 4 Arena (abbreviated P4U in Japan) and its sequel Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

While the new domains don't necessarily mean anything, both Persona games were successful and it would be hard to believe the two companies are not at least considering a third entry in the franchise.

Capcom delays Season 2 update, may conduct additional CFN beta

Capcom has postponed the launch of the new Capcom Fighters Network, which has muddled the release date for the Season 2 balance changes and next SFV DLC character.

The news comes from a post on Capcom-Unity, in which the company claims it is holding off the CFN release so that it "meets all of our expectations before it officially launches."

The post also points out that because the new CFN is tied to both the balances changes and the next character, those features will also have to wait until CFN is ready for release. Capcom's original plan was to have the Season 2 balance changes available by the end of April 2017

The company is now considering a second CFN beta to be conducted in the near future that would include the next DLC character, and promises there is "still to-be-announced content coming to Street Fighter V at the end of April."

Scarecrow spreads fear in new Injustice 2 gameplay trailer

Storied Batman foe Screcrow is the newest combatant to get a gameplay trailer in Injustice 2.

Scarecrow uses a mix of his trademark fear toxin along with a chained sickle. Unique to the character is his fear meter, which builds with any successful use of an attack that uses his gas. Normally Scarecrow's trait merely activates a cloud of gas around him (similar to Solomon Grundy's trait in the original Injustice), but once full it unlocks a chain attack that tracks opponents around the screen.

Players can check out the gameplay trailer after the jump.

The Flash runs circles around opponents in Injustice 2 gameplay trailer

The crimson speedster has finally gotten his own Injustice 2 trailer.

While the character is making his return, this is not the same Flash players will remember from the original Injustice. Seemingly gone are his torpedo attacks from the first game, replaced by a projectile attack and a move that resembles Kitana's sonic fan anti-air from Mortal Kombat. Flash's trait, however, seems unchanged in Injustice 2.

Players can check out the minute-and-a-half trailer after the jump. Injustice 2 releases May 16, 2017.
