Before their matches at NECXIII last year, both Marlinpie and Viscant of Brokentier were practicing with each other in a long session.

Yipes and Brokentier is getting ready to introduce the fifth edition of the Curleh Mustach tournament series for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3!
Dated for November 24 at Next Level Arcade, the upcoming tournament will feature invited players from various parts of East Coast including many from the New York/New Jersey region, Philadelphia, Maryland/Virginia, Rhode Island/Connecticut, and even some folks outside the mentioned regions. You can check out the player list after the jump! Aside from the main tournament, there will also be a match featuring RayRay vs. Moons and a New York vs. Maryland state battle.
The spectator fee is $10 while invited folks will have to pay $25. If you can't attend the event, make sure to check out the stream provided by Team Spooky!

Desk has uploaded an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 combo video showcasing the use of Crossover Counters during combos. The combos are based around the use of Viewtiful Joe's bomb assist. By making your own character block Viewtiful Joe's assist, it is possible to continue a combo with a Crossover Counter.
He starts it off by demonstrating a combo possible with the team of Frank West, Chun-li and Viewtiful Joe, before moving onto other characters like Sentinel, Wolverine, C.Viper and Spencer.

Last weekend at Brazil's Treta Armageddon tournament, Tokido landed a Doctor Doom TAC infinite during Winners Finals of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Tokido could've spent some meter and went for an easier combo but being the consummate showman, he opts to finish Wesker with the infinite. It happens 28:30 into the video. Storm, unlike many other characters in UMVC3, does not have many basic combos that dish out big damage right out of the gates. Even more of her more advanced combos leave much to be desired in the damage output department. That being said, she certainly makes up for this with having great movement options and one of the best DHC supers in the game.
Xero18 put together an awesome bread and butter combo compiliation for those of you looking to add Storm to your team. He goes over pretty much every variation that you will need to know so this is certainly worth a watch. Check it out after the jump!

Desk uploaded a new Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 clip showcasing a TAC infinite with Spencer. It involves using his Wiregrapple and a Forward Zipline over and over to keep it going. Check out the video after the jump along with Desk's notes.

If any of you watched the UMVC3 portion of Team Spooky's Big Two last night you probably saw this glitch where the game refused to go to the KO screen for an extended period of time even though MarlinPie's team was completely wiped out. This occurred as TS NerdJosh was firing off Soul Fists against MarlinPie's Amaterasu which was his last character.
